SensorUp leading interoperable IoT tasking standard at OGC Technical Committee September ’17 meeting

During the OGC Technical Committee Fall ’17 meeting (Sep 11~15 ’17), SensorUp led a group of Internet of Things experts to make interoperable IoT tasking a reality. The meeting was held at Ordnance Survey HQ in Southampton, UK. More than 200 experts around the world attended the OGC Technical Committee meeting. This time we reviewed the draft of the OGC SensorThings API Part 2 – Tasking Core (OGC 17-079). Now the draft is in place and we will submit to the OGC Architecture Board for review and approval to start the public commenting period. After that anyone will be able to read the standard draft and offer comments. Then we will be able to submit the draft to the OGC Technical Committee for the approval for official standard approval vote process. We will work hard to have the standard published in Q1 or Q2 2018.
