- Instant to code: In the old version, the sample code are static with no live sandbox server. Developers need to set up their own sandbox server in order to start coding. In the new version, example responses are retrieved from the SensorUp Scratchpad, a live SensorThings API sandbox server. Developers are able to directly use the sample codes and start coding with SensorThings API.
The sample code connects to the SensorUp Scratchpad sandbox server. For example, when you click on the “Show Response”, it sends a request and fetch the results from SensorUp Scratchpad. - Easier to read: We updated the CSS of the API template. The sample codes are colour coded and provide an easier and more pleasant reading experience. Different HTTP VERBs (e.g., GET/POST/DELETE/PATCH) are also colour coded differently
- Latest content: As SensorThings API is evolving, we update the API document to reflect the latest OGC standard specification. The updates include the latest UML Data Model, updated navigationLink, etc.
